nervous system education and workshops
GROUP PRESENTATIONS AND CLASSES
Strength in Community
Any type of distressing event or prolonged exposure to chronic stress or trauma can overwhelm a person’s coping mechanisms and survival responses. These events can lead to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, hypervigilance, sleep disturbances, chronic pain, PTSD, and more. By combining neuroscientific techniques of Somatic Experiencing® with yoga-informed practices and teachings, workshops and group classes can be accessible and integrate education and techniques for resiliency, prevention and recovery from the effects of adverse experiences.
